A vibrant and textured scarf knitted using the fleece from our own alpacas at Ash Farm in Pembrokeshire, which are located just outside the studio, this scarf is truly unique, classic and sumptuously soft in its design.
Handmade in my workshop in Pembrokeshire on a Stoll industrial knitting machine I designed it to reflect the textures and patterns found on the rock surfaces of nearby beaches. Bursts of rich yellow punctuate the grey alpaca knit providing a fabric that is full of tactile intrigue and uniqueness. Comparable to the softness of cashmere, this scarf will be the envy of your friends and family.

The scarf begins as a bundle of fleece that is sheared from our animals once a year. It is then cleaned, carded and spun into individual threads of luxurious alpaca yarn that I am then able to knit on a hand powered knitting machine. The fabric is then washed until it is slightly felted to ensure a luxurious soft feel. Steam ironing and hand sewing finishes the scarf, at which point its ready to wrap and dispatch straight to your door.
