Alpaca Seren Wrap/Poncho

Knitted using the fleece from our own alpacas at Ash Farm in Pembrokeshire, which are located just outside the studio, this wrap/poncho is truly unique, classic and sumptuously soft in its design. Handmade in my workshop in Pembrokeshire on a hand powered Stoll industrial knitting machine it can be purchased as either a wrap or poncho dependant on your personal preferences.  Comparable to the handle and drape of linen and the softness of cashmere, this wrap/poncho will be the envy of your friends and family. Classic in its design and colour this scarf is great for all occasions and will aid you throughout the year. This wrap begins as a bundle of fleece that is sheared from our animals once a year on our small holding. It is then cleaned, carded and spun into individual threads of luxurious alpaca yarn that I am then able to knit on a hand powered knitting machine. The fabric is then washed until it is slightly felted to ensure a luxurious soft feel. Steam ironing and hand sewing finishes the scarf, at which point its ready to be wrapped and dispatched straight to your door.
